During his nearly three-decade long shipping career, he has had hands-on experience in Ship-broking, Ship-operations, and Ship-management, both from an owner's perspective as well as charterer's perspective. He was also briefly involved in Liner shipping and Forwarding.

He is a Consultant in shipping and logistics for many reputed organizations, including DUBAL, NMT Shipping International, RHS Group Dubai, Modern Ship Management Sharjah, MOS Overseas Chartering Germany, Caravel Shipping, IBC, Inchcape Shipping Services, JBF and International Shipping & Logistics (TATA Group Co.). He offers training in shipping and logistics and is a visiting faculty in universities in India and Dubai.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Ship-brokers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He is in the leadership team of the Institute of Chartered Ship-brokers, UAE Branch, and the Supply Chain and Logistics Group, a business group under the Dubai Chamber.

He has presented papers at renowned International Shipping Seminars and Conferences.
